Blackjack and 21
Main Post:
I am now learning the rules of blackjack since me and some friends are gonna start playing blackjack, poker etc.
In that relation I was wondering if getting a natural(Ace and 10 value card) and getting a sum of 21 on multiple cards (f.ex 8+3+10)
How is it with payouts if so because I know a natural pays 1.5x back. But if they get a "unnatural" is it just a push?
Edit: Thank you for the answers
Top Comment: If you get 21 by more than two cards you have if you win a 1-1 payout and only push vs a dealer21

Turning 21 tomorrow in Vegas. Live Poker etiquette ?
Main Post:
I've lived in Vegas my whole life and been playing online poker since I was probably 15. I've read a few books and have browsed sub for a while. I understand I will probably lose whatever money I have and dont have any delusions of becoming rich overnight. I just want to go and actually legally be able to play the game I've loved for a long time in a real casino. I'm planning on playing at the Flamingo $50 12:30 am NLHE tourny. Now on to my questions. Since i've only ever played online I was wondering what kind of things I need to know about live play so I dont do anything embarrassing or get scolded. Am I allowed to be on my phone when im playing? Do I always tip the dealer/waitress? Can I stand up and leave the table whenever I want if I want to go to the bathroom or do i need to say something in advance? Anything you guys can share is greatly appreciated, thanks.

DEFINITELY make sure you drink AT LEAST one beer every time you win a pot over $20.
[Question] want to play poker in asia, but where? We're under 21.
Main Post:
Hello everyone, my friends and I are planning on travelling to Asia and would really like to play some poker there (especially some small tournaments).
Unfortunately, we're having trouble figuring out the best places to play poker, especially since we're all under 21 (but over 18). So we're really hoping that somebody could help with some advice/recommendations, as the information online is very sparse - the only place we've really been able to find is the Paradise Casino in Seoul.
Thank you :-)

Have you checked the casinos in Macau? That’s the only place I know in Asia that has public poker rooms.
My state’s gambling age is 21, but Bovada only requires me to be 18. I’m 20, will I be kicked trying to sign up?

Online poker, under 21?
Main Post:
Do any of you know if there are websites to play on under the age of 21? Btw, I live in Belgium and I haven't found any 'big' website (pokerstars) where I can play with real money. I could just say I am 21 or over but then the risk comes along that I won't be able to be cashed out? Are website like bovada playable for european citizens?

Poker in California under 21?
Main Post:
Hey guys been a micro stakes grinder for about 2 years now, I’ve been super interested in playing live cash but I unfortunately don’t turn 21 until early next year, I’m aware that there are very few tribal casinos that allow 18+ to play but not all have poker rooms, does anyone have any recommendations for where to play in California under 21?
I’m in Northern California but I’d be willing to travel pretty much anywhere in the state as I have family along the coast pretty much all the way to San Diego.
I appreciate it, thanks!

Barona is down in San Diego, has a card room and allows 18+ to play. I've had buddies say Graton Resort and Casino is pretty nice but I've never played there personally.
Parent Of Underage Poker Player
Main Post:
My son is 14. I know he has known how to play poker since he was at least 11. He has gotten books from the library like a green one called math of poker and a book called Kill Everyone. I have also seen him watching videos from this happy poker player that makes my son laugh. Well today he showed me his online poker account at a website called club seals. He has about 1500 chips on this site. I do not know how he got them because I would never give him money to gamble, but he says they are real money. I need someone who knows something about poker to help me. Is it real money? If so how did he get the money? Should I let him play this online gambling site? Are there any risks in letting my son play poker? Is the happy person a good guy or should I be worried? Is he just gambling or is there skill involved? Thank you for your help.
EDIT: I asked him how he got the money and he said a "Free roll." I asked him if he is any good and he says he has put in over one million hands so the "Variance should not play a large factor. Also I play withing my bank roll." Do not know what it means but that is what he said.

Anyone play dealer's choice home games?
Main Post:
Thinking about starting a home game up with some family and friends and was wondering if you all ever played dealer's choice games, and if so, if you have any games you particularly enjoy?
We used to play a couple... Baseball, Guts, Slime, 5-card draw, Auction, Indian, etc...
Most of our poker nights usually devolved into guts every game since the pot can blow up in the matter of a couple hands.
